About Windows 10, 11 Yellow Screen Issue

When you turn on your computer and notice a yellow tint display on your monitor/screen, it could be that your graphics card is bad or you mistakenly changed your desktop’s color profile.

Windows 10, 11 Yellow Screen Issue Fix

1. Change System Preferences

One of the first things to do is to turn off night mode. To do this, follow the steps below:

  • Click on the Search icon on the taskbar and look up "display."
  • Select Display Settings.
  • Toggle Night Light off.

2. Check Your Graphics Drivers

Another thing to check here is your graphics drivers. To check your drivers, follow the steps below:

  • Right-click on Start and select Run.
  • Type devmgmt.msc and hit the Enter key.
  • Find your graphics drivers and update them.

3. Edit Your System Color Profile

The fastest way to get to the color settings is to search for Color Management in the search bar in the taskbar. Open the Color Management page and tick Use My Settings For This Device. This will now allow you to adjust your monitor's color profile to suit your preference.

4. Examine Settings

Apparently, some desktop Virtual Display Unit (VDU) include additional color settings; this can include contrast, hue, gamma, saturation, and others. You’d find all these in the OSD menu; simply adjust them to revert your monitor’s color.

After you have tried various troubleshooting tricks, if none seem to be working, the next option is to roll back your computer to a previous state
